Set at right angles to one another, the two single-arch stone bridges form both a historic and visual threshold into the Kamilet Valley. They are the natural first stop on the Mençuna route.
What makes the bridges distinctive?
Both structures are single-span, inclined stone bridges. Their perpendicular layout crosses two separate streams and creates an unusual view from one point.
The bridges remain well preserved. Rain can make the stones slippery, so cross with care.
Plan them with Kamilet Valley
Continue from the Twin Bridges towards Kamilet Valley and Mençuna Waterfall to combine history, forest and a walk in one day.
Allow time to pause by the water and listen to the valley rather than treating the bridges as a quick photograph stop.
Practical notes
Before you set out
- Take care on wet stone surfaces.
- Leave early if combining the visit with the Mençuna walk.
- Help preserve the natural setting around the bridges and stream.
