Arhavi offers a compact route that links the Black Sea coast with valley villages in a single day. A well-paced plan can include the waterfront, local culture and a short nature escape.

Morning: town and coast

Begin in central Arhavi, then take a short walk towards the coast and pause for a local breakfast to catch the town’s rhythm.

Arhavi is one of Artvin’s two Black Sea districts and has approximately 14 kilometres of coastline.

Afternoon: culture or valley

The Dikyamaç Village Lifestyle Museum explores everyday village life through crafts and household objects. For a nature-led day, choose the Twin Bridges–Kamilet route.

Leave time for sunset by the coast before returning to the hotel. In wet weather, a museum and town-centre plan may be more comfortable.

Practical notes

Before you set out

  • Confirm museum opening hours before visiting.
  • Check weather and road conditions for the valley route.
  • Return to the centre before sunset for the coast.
